Best way to understand a culture is by learning the language spoken and its food.
Just like my mother says “food is the key to a man’s heart” in reality food is the key to anyone’s heart. All my childhood I watched my mom cook food, from tamales to great letter soups or simply “huevo con salchicha” Eggs with mexican sausage. The relationship between my mother and I is very strong, she’s my best friend and  the love of my life. She taught me how to make homemade tortillas and our signature “Empanadas” that everyone loves.
